After hearing the upsetting news, fans have taken to social media and paid tribute.
“So sorry to hear this sad news,” a follower wrote. “May he be resting in perfect peace.”
Another said: “RIP, gone too soon.”
Somebody else commented: “So sorry to hear of your passing. Sending so much love to your family. RIP.”

Danny Dearden, who appeared on the ITV talent show in 2014, reached the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition and was mentored by Spice Girls member Mel B in Cancún, Mexico.
He went on to have a successful music career, amassing more than 15 million streams on Spotify, and was signed by Sentric Music in 2021.
His most notable hit was as a featured artist on Michael Calfan’s ‘Could Be You,’ which was played on BBC Radio 1 Party Anthems with Scott Mills.
The singer’s other singles include ‘Come Down’ and ‘Different Kind of Love.’
Dearden’s manager, Denise Beighton, confirmed the devastating news of his passing in an instgram post shared on April 15.
It read: “Heartbroken to wake up to the news that you’re gone. I have no words right now, rest easy, beautiful boy.”
Mel B has shared a moving tribute to Dearden, which reads: “Tragic news hearing Danny Dearden has passed.
“I remember him back in his X Factor days and how talented you always were, but also how kind to everyone.
“Sending love to anyone who knew Danny.”

Before his passing, Dearden touched on the fact that he had been struggling with his health in recent years.
In December 2023, the singer revealed that the NHS had saved his life as he experienced ill health. But he didn’t reveal what his illness was.
At the time, he shared an Instagram post that read: “This year has been a bit of a rocky one, at one point I was told I probably wouldn’t be here today… Well, I am.”
In October 2024, the singer shared a selfie of himself with a peace sign, alongside the caption: “Another day another… well I’d say dive but it takes me 5 minutes to get down the steps into the pool these days haha.”
The singer’s final social media post showed him in the hospital, as he snapped a photo of a hot chocolate.

Dearden’s cause of death has yet to be revealed. However, a recent statement has confirmed that it was after a long health battle.
“We are heartbroken to announce the sad loss of our dear friend and artist Danny Dearden, who passed away peacefully this morning after a long illness,” a representative for the musician stated, via the mirror
They added: “Danny was one of the most talented, hardworking people we have worked with and has made a big mark on the industry, amassing more than 30 million streams and collaborating with huge dance names such as Michael Calfan and Dario G. RIP Danny.”
