Amber heard has announced she has welcomed twin babies with rather unique names.
Heard announced the birth of twins in a deeply personal and heartfelt instagram post shared on Mother’s Day in the United States.
The 39-year-old actress revealed the news alongside a photo of three pairs of tiny feet, symbolizing the arrival of her newborns and their older sister, four-year-old Oonagh Paige.
“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget,” Heard wrote.
“This year, I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years.”
However, fans have had a lot to say about her choice of baby names.
“Those poor kids,” one commenter wrote. Another added: “What dreadful names.”
Further commenters dubbed them ‘cruel,’ and ‘the worst names ever.’

The actress has been living in spain since 2022, seeking a quieter life with her daughter in the aftermath of her highly publicized legal disputes with ex-husband Johnny Depp.
During a 2023 interview, director Conor Allyn, who worked with Heard on In the Fire, noted she had been ‘living her best life in Spain’ and was ‘such a dedicated mom.’
Heard’s retreat from the public eye followed years of media scrutiny surrounding her tumultuous relationship with Depp.
Their marriage ended in 2016, and the ensuing years were dominated by mutual allegations of domestic abuse and two high-profile defamation trials.
In 2022, a Virginia jury found Heard liable for defaming Depp, while also awarding her damages in a countersuit.

This marks the second time the Aquaman star has publicly shared the birth of her children.
Her first child, Oonagh, was born in 2021, when Heard spoke openly about her decision to become a mother independently.
At that time, she declared: “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib,” although fans were quick to criticize her unusal name choice.
In her latest post, she reflected on the challenges she’s faced in becoming a parent, describing the journey as ‘the most humbling experience of my life.’
Heard added: “Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges… I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”

Despite the controversies and personal battles, Heard has emerged focused on motherhood. “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you,” she wrote.
In the closing lines of her post, Heard finally revealed the names of her newborns: a daughter named Agnes and a son named Ocean.
“Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang,” she wrote. “My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full.”
