Poppy O'Malley-Flack who has been asked to join Mensa. A 10-year-old girl has been invited to join Mensa after she took a test for dyslexia - and found out she has an IQ that puts her in the top 1% of Britons. Poppy O’Malley-Flack, from Snodland, Kent, was sent for the exam ahead of her 11+ because she was having trouble with spelling. But the results of the three-hour test concluded that she has exceptional reasoning and problem-solving skills - and an IQ of 136.

Learning disabilities don’t equate to lower intelligence — and no one is proving that point more than a 10-year-old girl from Kent, England. After Poppy O’Malley-Flack took a test for dyslexia because she’d been having trouble with spelling, she discovered she has an IQ of 136, and has since been invited to join high-IQ society Mensa International.

Artist Karen Bones, who lives in Fife, Scotland, spent years working as a freelance illustrator, moonlighting in local bars to help support herself. Then, after the COVID-19 pandemic hit, she found herself with more time on her hands — and came across another artist’s work online that inspired her. That’s when she began the next chapter of her career: crafting intricate miniature sculptures of famous pubs and venues.

Bunny the sheep. A couple who fell in love working together at an animal sanctuary tied the knot in a barn on site – with a sheep acting as their ring bearer. Jake Ratcliffe, 34, set up Millington’s Magical Barn in Yorkshire, in 2018 as an animal lover with no previous experience in animal rescue. Since then, he has rescued over 200 animals who needed a home, meeting now-wife Rosie, 28, when she started volunteering in 2020. After spending the summer “mucking stables out and looking after animals together” the couple fell in love and married on August 2 in a converted cow barn on site.
